Our Story

Faithful Foods, Inc has been creating handmade artisan mixes, confections and foods for the South Carolina Midlands and the Southeastern US since 1995 when our gift basket business incorporated, branched out and became a food producer, too. Our mission is to make delicious foods that are “Handmade so you don’t have to- leaving you time to enjoy Life’s most important things!"

Heidi Black first opened her gift basket business Bringing You Baskets in 1986. After enjoying much success and a few awards too, she recognized the true value of her business-the opportunity to raise two children while riding herd over a family run business- first from a Historic home (circa 1842) with a 72 foot long front porch and a gift shop at the end. Then the company added an inspected bakery built on the premises! The next move was to a free standing store at Lexington’s Historic Old Mill, then to a local shopping center and so on ‘til now!

Today our Faithful Foods crew spans into our 2nd generation. Our fantastic staff includes daughter in law, Collin (and our precious two year old grandson who serves as our Director of Smiles, Giggles and Grins), daughter, Faith, and our founder Heidi who still loves every minute even after 35 years.

We still take great pride in hand crafting specialized artisan foods, confections, mixes, gift baskets, boxes, and more with much joy and lots of TLC. Currently 150 plus recipes are on the menu and there’s more to come! Your suggestions are always welcome!

Faithful Foods sets itself apart from any average food store with its unique, specialized offerings. From fudge to real butter Scottish Shortbread cookies to scrumptious dessert dips, your sweet tooth is sure to find something satisfying. On the savory side, you’ll find hearty soups, grits, rice mixes, bread mixes and more. We create everything so you can finish it with ease using minimal ingredients. You'll save time and serve fantastic food.

Gourmet Artisan Food Mixes Online or In Retail Stores

We sell most of our products online and retail stores throughout the Southeast. Our incredible farm fresh chicken and duck eggs from our own Rusty B Ranch are used in our wonderful freshly baked quiches, casseroles, soups and

entrees, which also contain fresh tomatoes and vegetables, grown right here at the Rusty B during the summer season. Oftentimes the vegetables are picked just before we slice and bake ‘em into our delicious goodies.

We also provide products to a number of local restaurants and stores in Columbia, SC and lots more specialty stores, grocery stores, farm markets and mom and pop businesses throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. Check out all of our retailers!

We also offer wholesale to local and non-local retailers. We'd love to talk to you about supplying your needs for these items from our specialized creations.

Faithful Foods Brings Artisan Foods to Our Community

Faithful Foods is very involved in our community. We love to help and find ways to give back and serve. We support our food pantries with love. We contribute to Emergency Relief programs to help after hurricanes and flooding emergencies. We honor and care for our veterans, and contribute to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Most importantly, Faithful Foods, Inc. values our customers, many of which have been faithful to us for over 34 years. We're now in our second generation, with a wonderful, enlarged staff of creative, hardworking, big hearted folks. We are now operating in a larger production facility and with an even stronger goal to provide you with the best products ever. We promise continued service to and through our community with food bank donations, charity event sponsorships, Meals on Wheels support, partial product sales to benefit children's charities, veteran recognition & services, and homeless shelters.
